BizSpark, a nice hand by Microsoft for tech startups

Today I learned via Fabian Baptista that Microsoft launched a program called BizSpark to help new software development companies around the world.

As part of this program, they give you all development tools, platforms, tools for servers and technical support at no cost.

Requirements for participation are simple: the company has to be a software developerwith less than 3 years in the market and with revenues below $1M.

It also gives you access to a group of Network Partners that giveyou mentoring, contacts and other resources.

To participate in Argentina and Uruguay you have to get in touch with Ingenio. Colombia, Venezuela and Peru with Parquesoft. Brazil has many possible sites, including CIETEC. Mexico has several but all in the US. Other Latin American countries (including Chile) should be directed to Yousaas.

Enjoy it!
