Wordcamp BA is past, Buenos Aires 2.0 comes next

Last Saturday I presented in WordcampBA. The event was great. Mariano Amartino was perfect in the organization, Matt Mullenweg was all I expected and more (I am dying to upgrade my WP to 2.7!) and the three lectures that I saw were very good.

Speaking to that audience, full of super experienced bloggers, was very challenging (I share my ppt below). As I said at the start my talk, “if that’s not going out of the comfort zone I do not know what would be. ”

For this presentation I chose a style that I would not normally use. Extreme adrenaline. 53 slides in 10 to 15 minutes. I had to share the panel with Esteban Panzeri from Lenovo and, to my surprise, he chose a style even more frantic. So I do not know if our presentations were among the best but they surely were among the “craziest”. Esteban defined our MO in scatological terms: “verbal diarrhea.”

When you see the ppt you will be able to judge by yourself, but for what I got from the twitts and via the FB most people liked it a lot. Among the things that made me prouder was that Ismael Briasco said it was among the top three along with Matt. Pablo Tossi twitted we were “excellent”, Santi Siri said the same thing in my Wall and Jose Teixidó said it was the one he liked the most and proved to be a potential Packer fan. Guillermo Bracciaforte said that our presentations were “peculiar” and that’s a lot!

But we are moving on and now this Thursday i will speak at Buenos Aires 2.0, which has gotten as much blog publicity as I have ever seen before. Almost all blogs published the agenda.

If you already heard me at Wordcamp, probably shouldn’t go because I will do a similar “show”. Just a few small changes and some tinkering with the “scope”.
