In this new 2.0 World there are countless sources of information on almost everything. If, for example, you want to decide which movie to see this weekend, Google offers thousands of different sites where you can gather info to make up your mind: newspapers, specialized sites, social networks on cinema, blogs, etc. Which ones are you going to read? Whose opinion will you trust to make your decision?
I have no idea how the World will be 10 years from now but I do have the intuition that building up a 2.0 reputation and becoming a credible and respected source of information will be increasingly more important and valuable every day.
Nowadays, with an increasing number of aspects of our personal life available online for anyone to see forever, we are all characters of “TV registrada”. From now on, a phrase like “he/she does not resist an archive” will apply to all of us, no only to politicians.
We can (must) protect our reputation 2.0. But, since nobody can fool all the people all the time, the wisest thing to do is to be spontaneous and to live and enjoy our life assuming all the consequences of who we are, overexposed, all the time.
With this post I finish the series on the World 2.0. I hope you found it interesting.
