To answer Alexis Garbarz’s question (in Spanish, he asked what measures did we take after that natual disaster) on the post Shit Happens, I think it is good to discuss more upon the learning Officenet got out of the crisis management during the great flood in San Pablo. And who better for that than Leo Piccioli, who personally directed the operations in Brazil to overcome this terrible situation? So, I asked him to write a guest post about it. Here it goes!

Last week I was invited to speak at the E-Commerce Day. There, I made a presentation and received a award from CACE for “my support to the development of the Digital Economy”. It was a great honor to receive it together with heavyweights such as Alec Oxenford , Esteban Brenman, Facundo Garretón and Santiago Pinto.

Almost every person I know complains about having a too sedentary life and not having enough time for practicing sports. Here I bring you an idea that solves this issue: A sport that can be practiced anywhere, without any accessories, with very simple rules and that can be played by two or more players.

Staples has sent from the US one of the Olympic Torches. We will have it today and tomorrow at our Argentina office and the rest of the week in Brazil.
Then it will continue traveling to the other Staples operations around the World.
